Shahat Hosts Retrieved Historical Artifacts Exhibition

The Libyan Antiquities Department of the Interim Government is preparing to organize the exhibition of Retrieved Historical Artifacts in its first version in the city of Shehat under the slogan of Heritage for All. This is part of the campaign to raise awareness of the importance of Libyan cultural heritage and ways to protect and develop it.

The Antiquities Dept. confirmed that the historic city of Shehat is preparing to host the first exhibition for ten days in the city museum.

The exhibition, which will be launched on Monday, will include an exhibition of the artifacts received by the Department after they were restored, maintained and recorded.
The exhibition will devote part of it to display the work of the late Dawood Al-Hallak.

The head of the Antiquities Department Dr. Ahmed Hussein said earlier that the exhibition is in its first version, and the second edition will be in August, in the city of Benghazi, and the third version in November, in the city of Tobruk.
