GNA’s Central Security Director Kidnapped In Tripoli

TRIPOLI – A group of armed men kidnapped on Monday the Director of the General Directorate of Central Security in the Tripoli-based Government of National Accord, Brigadier General Mohammad Al-Damja, in front of his house in the capital Tripoli.

According to the Libyan News Agency, the group that kidnapped Al-Damja is under the so-called Tripoli Revolutionaries Brigade, belonging to militant Haitham Tajouri.

In a meeting with the Vice President of the Presidential Council, Ahmed Maiteeq, Al-Damja complained about obstacles and difficulties that hindered his administration’s work, which led to poor performance of the administrative staff due to lack of support.
