Maintenance Works Continued At Bani Walid Civil Airport

BANI WALID – Maintenance and development work underway at Bani Walid Civil Airport is still ongoing, and the works specifically in the passenger lounge are 65 percent completed, the Libya Airports Authority said on Tuesday.

The LAA explained that the ongoing works are about the installation of electricity networks for the hall and the installation of e-systems networks.

The rate of the constructions of the Bani Walid Airport metal fence amounted about 85 percent, whereas the maintenance rate of the old fence amounted 100 percent, LAA added.

The LAA also reported that it had begun the construction of a metal fence in order to separate the military and civilian sides of the airport.
