TRIPOLI – On Saturday (July 14th), The Presidential Council of the GNA received an all-new maintained (Antonov 74) presidential plane, as Ukrainian companies carried out maintenance work in Sudan, which lasted for a year.
The plane was released by the Sudanese authorities after major efforts were made. The Presidential Council received the plane at the airport of Mitiga on Saturday evening.
The Antonov 74 presidential plane returned to Libya after a maintenance flight in a complicated arrangement with Ukrainian companies that carried out maintenance on the aircraft at the Safat Foundation in Sudan.
The lifespan of the aircraft was extended to 2020.
