The hospital’s media office said the surgery department had received a 37-year-old woman with a small bowel obstruction with stomach swelling and constipation associated with vomiting a month ago.
She had the necessary tests with cross-sectional images and rays, which revealed the presence of medical gauze inside the intestine.
“An emergency surgery was performed, and the gauze was successfully removed from the small intestine, also the symptoms disappeared, and the patient left the hospital with good health.” The media office said.
The hospital media office published a video clip showing the scenes of the procedure and removing the gauze from the patient’s intestines.
