“No to the Extension” Movement renews its activity in Tripoli

TRIPOLI – “No to the Extension” Movement,(Harak La li-l-Tamdid), announced that it is back to action and renewed its activity in Tripoli. The movement founding members said in a statement issued today.

The No to the Extension Movement was started by young Cyrenaicans and Tripolitanians opposed to extending the tenure of the General National Congress (GNC) between late 2013 and early 2014.

The movement said they hold the Muslim Brotherhood for the safety of its members. The statement also stressed that the members of the movement decided to return to civil work after a break of four years in response to the demands of the people against those who hold power until the end. They stressed that it is necessary to push towards the parliamentary and presidential elections on the scheduled date on December 10.
