Libya To Witness Longest Total Lunar Eclipse In 100 Years

LIBYA – Libya will witness the longest total lunar eclipse that has not happened in 100 years. The rare phenomena will be possible to view from almost all regions and cities of Libya.

According to a local association of astronomy enthusiasts, the total eclipse will occur Friday, July 27 at 20:24 local time.

The association explained that it will monitor this event from the city of Shahat and will set up an astronomical night for all those who wish to attend and follow the event through the telescope.
