Demonstrations In Tripoli Denouncing Deterioration Of Living Conditions And Against GNA

TRIPOLI – On Friday, demonstrations were launched on Martyrs’ Square in Tripoli demanding the deterioration of living conditions, high prices, and poor services, provided by the Tripoli-based Government of National Accord (GNA), in Tripoli and the whole country, raising chanting slogans including, “shame, shame, shame, a loaf of bread is worth a dinar” and “No money, no electricity, this is unacceptable living condition.”
The demonstrators called on the Head of the Presidential Council of GNA, Fayez Al-Sarraj, to step down, raising the slogans against him “Sarraj, Coward, you are an infiltrator.” They also raised the slogan “No to the puppet Government” No Brigades No Militias, we need an army with a single flag”.
