TRIPOLI – The Presidential Council Head of the Tripoli-based Government of National Accord (GNA), Fayez Al-Sarraj, held a meeting with the Head and members of the Municipal Council of Al-Andalus, in which he called on everyone to have what he described as Vigilance, uniting, and wisdom, stressing, “the next is better.”
Al-Sarraj said that citizens have the right to peacefully express their opinions, and this is a manifestation of civil state, pointing out that it is the duty of the municipalities to clarify the whole truth.
According to a statement by the Media Office of GNA, the meeting dealt with bottlenecks in some service facilities and discussed the stages of implementation of the previously agreed projects that the municipalities was given allocations to implement.
The delegation presented the needs and shortcomings of various facilities, including health, sanitation, water supply and road connections.
Al-Sarraj directed the competent authorities to provide some urgent needs and to form a technical committee to assess some of the other demands and to prepare reports on their implementation estimates.
