TOBRUK – The “National Movement For Libya -NML” in Tobruk announced its intention to take part in a demonstration under the slogan “We are all with you, Tripoli” in the Martyrs Square (King Idris Square) next Friday, August 3rd, in Tobruk Downtown.
“The Friday demonstration will include the participation of civil society organizations, mayors, and all social structures in Tobruk municipality,” NML announced in a statement today received by The Address.
The “National Movement For Libya” said that the demonstration comes in support of the people of Tripoli and calling for the protests in Libyan cities streets against the deterioration of living conditions and against the terrorist militias of the Muslim Brotherhood organization.
The demonstration will also demand the entry of the Libyan National Army (LNA) to Tripoli to liberate the city from these extremist groups, NML added.
Tripoli has witnessed a sequence of demonstrations since last Friday, which condemned the deteriorating living conditions and demanded the resignation of the Presidential Council. They also called for general elections to be held as scheduled on December 10.
