Central Bank Promises To Pay 50% Of E-Merchants’ Sales In Cash In One Condition

Tripoli – The Central Bank of Libya in Tripoli had stated  through its official Facebook page that they launched their initiative to pay 50% of the sales of electronic traders in cash, provided that no increase in the price of goods and services.

The Central Bank announced measures had been taken to put the initiative into action.

The Central Bank committed commercial banks to facilitate and accelerate the issuance of local cards and expand the deployment of points of sale for acceptance in various shops and in all Libyan cities and regions to be accessible to all to encourage the use of electronic payment methods and dissemination of culture within the priorities of the Central.
