The Address | Benghazi – Libya
The authorities of the Quarantine Department at Cairo International Airport have extended the suspicion of passengers coming from Libya, after the finding that several citizens of different Libyan cities had measles.
According to a decree by the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population, the new procedures at Cairo Airport will include the signing of the necessary medical reports on those coming from Libya, especially those who are diagnosed with high fever as its symptoms are usually associated with measles.
The suspects will be transferred to a designated hospital where public health cards are issued to those coming from Libya – including the children – and are registered on the department database. The Quarantine Department and its health directorates should then be informed of the suspects and their addresses in Egypt for 14 days from the date of arrival.
