Demonstration In Tripoli Against Italian Interference In Libyan Affairs

The Address | Benghazi – Libya

Tripoli – A demonstration was launched on Sunday in front of Tripoli’s People’s Hall (alshab hall) to protest on the Italian ambassador’s comments on the postponement of the elections in Libya.

The demonstrators carried banners calling for not postponement of the elections, and stop the Italian intervention in Libyan affairs.

The comments made by the Italian ambassador to Libya Giuseppe Beroni sparked a wave of public anger, saying in an interview by Libya’s national channel that Italy does not want to hold the elections in Libya at any cost because the elections will increase instability and chaos. And conflicts in the country as described.
