Electricity unstable conditions in Eastern Libya

AL-BAYDA – The Eastern Regional Control Department of the General Authority for Electricity and Renewable Energies of the Libyan Interim Government announced, on Sunday, that the conditions of the electrical grid in the Eastern Region  were not stable.

According to the official spokesman of the Authority, Rabi Khalifa, the expected deficit for Sunday was 115 MW across the region and that the hours of loading would be from 3 to 4 hours in the Eastern Region.

Khalifa added that the Eastern grid was separated from the Western grid and wouldl cover the loads of the city of Tobruk through the Egyptian grid carrying 60 megawatts.
