CAIRO – A car collided near central Cairo on Monday, injuring nine people.
The Egyptian Health Ministry said in a statement that a minibus collided with a car, causing the burning of the two vehicles near a bridge in the Dokki area.
The Middle East News Agency quoted a security source as saying that the initial inspection carried out by the civil protection forces and bomb experts showed that the cause of the explosion was “the occurrence of a short circuit in one of the cars caused the fire that spread to the fuel tank, causing the explosion.”
