TOBRUK – The general manager of Tobruk International Airport Salahaddin Salim announced on Tuesday the resumption of international and domestic flights from today.

The Civil Aviation Authority suspended work on July 29 at Tobruk Airport on the basis of a report that a number of citizens entered the airport control tower building, demanding that the workers leave the tower and stop air traffic.

The Authority explained that this strike came in an objection step by several airport employees who objected the appointing of a new director of the airport and the exemption of the former director who resigned earlier, according to a decision issued by the General Authority for Transportations.
