The Address | Benghazi – Libya
The Supreme Council of Islamic Sufism in Libya on Thursday denied interference in politics, political parties or divide, and denied any statements criticizing or endorsing any campaigns, candidates whatsoever.
The Council confirmed, in an official statement, that any statements not published on its official website are false and incorrect.
The council’s rejection followed a statement attributed to it on Wednesday denouncing statements made by former Libyan ambassador to the UAE Aref Ali Nayed regarding the elections.
