GNA calls on observers to follow up on distributing sacrifice sheep and establishing their prices

TRIPOLI – The Ministry of Economy and Industry of the Tripoli-based Government of National Accord (GNA) issued a circular demanding that observers and directors of the economic service centers in the regions follow up on the implementation of the presidential council’s resolution regarding allocating funds for the supply of sacrifices, sheep that Muslims sacrifice on the religious ceremony of Eid Al-Adha, which will be on August 21.

The director of the Department of Internal Trade in the Ministry, Mohammed Khalifa Al-Zaidi, stressed that the economic observers in the regions need to follow up on the companies that obtained approvals for the supply of sacrifices, to ensure access to the beneficiaries and allocation of distribution outlets for supplying companies.

Al-Zaidi demanded establishing and approving the prices of sacrifices according to the actual costs and announcing the approved prices through media.
