TRIPOLI – A local militia abducted a number of employees today from Libyana Mobile Phone and expelled others from the company’s headquarters in Tripoli, an official source from the company told The Address.

The source said that the abducted were taken by the militia because they were from Tajura area, the eastern suburb of Tripoli. This comes as a response to the abduction of a citizen in the Souqel Jumaa area by “Albugra” militias.

Tripoli is run by militias loyal to the international backed Presidential Council that claim to represent Libya and control major parts of it.
