Accusations for GNA and CBL of causing Eid livestock non-importation

The Address | Benghazi – Libya

TRIPOLI – Al-Enmaa Company for Agricultural Development and Investment, one of the companies that had been granted authorizations to import Eid sacrifice livestock and that had reserved through the Electronic System by the Central Bank of Libya (CBL), apologized to the citizens who made reservations on the company’s system being not able to supply sacrifices this year.

The Company said in a statement that it had provided points of sale in all areas of Libya and was ready to supply, but the intervention of the Presidential Council of the Tripoli-based Government of National Accord (GNA) by amending the resolution, in addition to closing the System and refusing to grant financial authorizations to the Development Fund by CBL, prevented the supply of sacrifices as was agreed upon earlier.
