Interim Government discussing implementation of projects

GERNADA – Prime Minister of the Libyan Interim Government, Abdullah Al-Thani, met on Wednesday with Head of the General Authority for Transportation, Head of the Board of Directors of National Water Resources Corporation, Director General of Urban Development Authority – Eastern Region Branch, Undersecretary of Ministry of Health for Technical Affairs, Director General of Planning and Oversight of General Authority for Housing, Director General of Technology and Educational Facilities Maintenance, and Director of Department of Monitoring and Performance Assessment in the Cabinet Office, in his office at the Government headquarters in Gernada in an expanded meeting to discuss projects being implemented by the government through its different sectors.

The meeting was attended by a number of representatives of some contracting and real estate investment companies.

Al-Thani stressed the importance of involving those companies in the implementation of projects approved by the Government as well as those approved by the Committee for Restoring Stability in Benghazi. He added that there should be final meetings after Eid al-Adha to start the implementation of those projects, especially in the field of education to be completed before the beginning of the coming scholastic year.
