BENGHAZI – Lt Gen. Abdulrazek al-Nadoori, the commander of the Central Security Room of Greater Benghazi (CSRGB), issued a decree appointing Major General Abdullah Nur al-Din al-Hammali to manage the room temporarily, CSRGB media office announced in a press statement today.
CSRGB has developed a “comprehensive security plan” to maintain security in the city of Benghazi and neighboring cities and towns during the Eid al-Adha holidays, CSRB media office added.
The Central Security Room of Greater Benghazi was formed by the Libyan National Army (LNA) General Command after the liberation of Benghazi from terrorist groups such as ISIS, Ansar al-Sharia, and al-Qaeda affiliated militias. The goal of CSRGB is maintaining security in the city after several terrorist accidents in 2017, where tens of civilians got killed and other injured.
