CBL denies accusing GNA of retreating from economic reforms

TRIPOLI – Central Bank of Libya (CBL) denied in a statement published on its official Facebook page what some media reported about the statements of Mr. Fathi Akoub, CBL Secretary of the Board of Directors, which included accusations aginst the Presidential Council of the Tripoli-based Government of National Accord (GNA) of retreating from issuing resolutions for the expected economic reforms.

CBL stressed that all media should pay attention to accuracy and be committed to professionalism regarding what they attribute to CBL.

CBL also pointed out that the bank’s official page on Facebook is the only official source of information and data issued by the bank.
