TRIPOLI – Al-Bunyan Al-Marsoos forces of the Presidential Council of the Tripoli-based Government of National Accord (GNA) condemned the events, described as “dangerous,” inside Tripoli, hinting that it would not allow tampering with the security of homeland and citizens at the time of the inability of the security authorities to protect and secure civilians.
It stressed in a statement that the dialogue is the basis for resolving the dispute between the citizens of one country and that the capital Tripoli is for all and no party has the right to use force and intimidate safe citizens.
The Force held everyone connected with the protection of Tripoli responsible for what happened.
The statement called on GNA to take responsibility and address the causes of serious security deterioration and to develop a clear and transparent plan to ensure and establish security in a disciplined and orderly manner, taking urgent decisions in particular to avoid any security collapse in Tripoli.
