TRIPOLI – At least two people were killed and five injured when a discriminate shell fell on the Tawergha displaced camp in al-Falah district in Tripoli, Local Council of Tawergha said on Sunday.
The Council appealed to all the bodies of the Libyan State to shoulder their responsibilities to protect civilians in the camps and elsewhere.
The Council also called on the people of Tawergha to be vigilant and not to approach the places of clashes.
“The city of Tawergha is open and safe for all families wishing to return home,” the Council stated.
