The Address | Benghazi – Libya

TRIPOLI – The Seventh Infantry Brigade announced its continued commitment to the ceasefire agreement in Tripoli, but pointed out that it was still dealing with some of the aggressors on the positions of its troops in various fronts and gates.

The Brigade said in a statement, “when we received information from the leaders of our units in various concentrations regarding attacks by the militias in Tripoli, through firing and shelling indiscriminately and repeatedly, since the first hours of the night of the same day that the Armistice Agreement was signed in Zawiya under the auspices of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), our forces had to deal with attackers and sources of fire.”
