LNA Special Forces leave Benghazi to join the South Operations Room – Photo

BENGHAZI – Units from the Special Forces of the Libyan National Army (LNA) left the city of Benghazi last night to the south of Libya.

Yesterday, Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, the Libyan National Army General Commander, issued a resolution to form the South Operations Room led by Major General Wanis Bukhamada, the Commander of the Special Forces.

According to sources from LNA, the Room is formed to secure the south of Libya and eliminate “terrorist gangs, criminals and mercenaries,” and to combat smuggling and human trafficking of arms and drugs.
