Seventh Brigade: Tripoli NOC attack confirms the failure of militias to protect state institutions

The Address | Benghazi – Libya

TRIPOLI – The Seventh Infantry Brigade considered that the suicide attack on the headquarters of the National Oil Corporation in Tripoli today “proves that the militias that get large budgets by extorting the Presidential Council will continue to fail and unable to protect citizens and state institutions.”

In a press statement, the Seventh Brigade said that “the simple citizen will continue to pay the price of security chaos unless the official professional security institutions are enabled to function normally.”

The Brigade also condemned the terrorist attack that targeted at the headquarters of the National Oil Corporation in Tripoli, where at least one person got killed and several others were injured.
