Cease fire violation and armed clashes renewal south of Tripoli

The Address | Benghazi – Libya

TRIPOLI – Armed clashes broke out south of Tripoli on Tuesday morning between the Deterrence Force – Abu Salim and al-Somoud brigade, led by Salah Badi, in the areas of Mashrou al-Hadhba and the Airport Road after the violation of the cease-fire agreement signed in al-Zawiya city under the auspices of the UN Mission in Libya (UNSMIL).

The clashes have displaced families from the area in large numbers.

It is noteworthy that the General Electricity Corporation in Tripoli said the armed clashes led to a breakdown in the electrical network in Mashrou al-Hadhba causing a total darkness in the South and West of Libya.
