TRIPOLI – The Director of the Information Office of the Libyan Red Crescent, Ayman Kashkir, said on Thursday that a number of families are still besieged within the areas of clashes that are renewed today in Tripoli.
“There are no safe corridors for families to break out of the clashes,” Kashkir said, adding, “Now we have received more than 300 calls for the families to leave.”
On Thursday, armed clashes raged in the south of the Hadaba area, where pictures of black smoke rising near Hamza camp were seen amidst the continuous shooting of indiscriminate rockets on various areas south of the capital. Other pictures also showed that missiles hit a number of houses.
