CBL declares rules for selling foreign currency for specific purposes in Libya

TRIPOLI – The Tripoli-based Central Bank of Libya (CBL) on Sunday issued a number of regulations regulating the sale of foreign currency for personal, therapeutic, academic and documentary purposes.

The Central Bank clarified that the banks will make quick transfers in foreign currency for personal purposes through the Western Union or MoneyGram or direct transfer in addition to the issuance and shipping of Visa cards or Mastercard International.
