TRIPOLI – 5000,000 children are in immediate danger in Tripoli due to fighting, the United Nations children’s fund (UNICEF) said on Monday September 24.

Over 1,200 families have been displaced in the past 48 hours as clashes increased in southern Tripoli, UNICEF said.

That brings the total number of people displaced by the recent fighting to over 25,000, half of whom are children, UNICEF said.
