Guterres: We are working with Algeria to speed up Libya’s exit from the crisis

NEW YORK – The Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, affirmed the UN continuous work with Algeria to accelerate Libya’s exit from the crisis. This came during a meeting between Algerian Foreign Minister Abdelkader Messahel in New York on Wednesday, on the sidelines of their participation in the work of the 73rd session of the General Assembly of the United Nations.

Guterres expressed his “gratitude for the constant support of Algeria and its accompanying efforts to support the UN envoy to Libya Ghassan Salamé”, according to a statement issued by the Algerian Foreign Ministry.
