French ambassador Du Hellen meets with Maiteeq and Ribeiro

TRIPOLI – Vice Chairman of the Presidential Council of Libya, Ahmed Maiteeq welcomed the appointment of Beatrice le Fraper du Hellen, ambassador of France to Libya, during meeting with her on Tuesday morning.
Du Hellen reiterated her government’s support for the proposed Government of National Accord, stressing further cooperation to develop the relationship between the two countries in all fields.

In a separate meeting, Du Hellen also met with Deputy Head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), Maria Ribeiro. Ribeiro brief the ambassador on Libya’s development its humanitarian needs and the two discussed France’s support for the UN’s programming in Libya, according to a tweet by UNSMIL.
