The World Bank warns GNA: If you want economic growth in Libya, security must return

The Address | Benghazi – Libya

TRIPOLI – The World Bank said, in its economic outlook of October for Libya, that the proposed Government of National Accord led by Fayez Al-Sarraj must necessarily resolve the security crisis in Libya and Tripoli as soon as possible in order for the country to achieve economic growth, Italy’s Difesa & Sicurezza reported.

The World Bank recalled that the nation’s revenues are based primarily on activities related to hydrocarbons. As a result, its economic performance is strongly conditioned by the security situation.
