Presidential Council delays lifting fuel subsidies gradually to end of the year

TRIPOLI – Saad Abu Rashada, a member of the Finance and Economic Committee of the High Council of  State, said that the Presidential Council decided to delay lifting subsidies on fuel to the end of 2018, in order to maintain the standard of living of citizens, as well as to provide cash flow and monetary support instead of fuel subsidies.

The Economic Committee of the High Council of State announced in September the signing of a program of economic reforms between the High Council, the Presidential Council and the Central Bank of Libya.
