The Address | Benghazi – Libya

MOSCOW – Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in a joint press conference with his Italian counterpart Enzo Moavero Milanesi, at the end of their talks today in Moscow, that Russia and Italy agree to avoid “ultimatums and artificial deadlines” with respect to elections in Libya.

“Russia and Italy maintain a structured dialogue at different levels on the Libyan problem, and we believe that it is an obligatory imperative to work with all Libyan forces, while the other guiding principle, which is also shared by Italy, is to avoid ultimatums and artificial deadlines in the political process leading to the stabilization of Libya.”, said Lavrov.
