Aguila Saleh: European sanctions aim to “twist my arm” to approve the government of Al-Sarraj

The Address | Benghazi – Libya

TOBRUK – The head of the House of Representatives, Counselor Aguila Saleh, said in media statements on Thursday that the sanctions renewed by the European Union, “mainly aimed to twist my arm in order to agree to give confidence to the government of Al-Sarraj.”

Saleh described the sanctions as a form of “meddling” in Libya’s affairs and demanded that the European Union review it, especially as it does not have a legal dimension but rather a political one as he put it.
