Eyes turn today to the Aqua Ibom stadium in Nigeria’s Oyo, which will host a game between the Libyan national team and the Nigerian natioanal team in the African Cup of Nations qualifiers 2019 in Cameroon.
The national team, led by national coach Omar Marimi, held an evening training session on the field where the game will be played.
The Mediterranean Knights continue their lead to the fifth group with 4 points, with goal difference from South Africa, ranked second with 4 points, while the Super Eagles third with 3 points, and the Seychelles lies in the tail of the group without points.
The national team arrived in Nigeria on Friday night from the Carthage airport in Tunis after a six-hour flight.
The game will start off at 5 pm Libya’s local time (GMT+2) on Saturday.
