Opening of the fifth session of the African Parliament with the participation of Libya

KIGALI – The fifth session of the African Parliament was opened at the conference center in the Rwandan capital of Kigali on Wednesday, with the participation of members of the House of Representatives.

The opening ceremony was attended by the President of the State of Rwanda and the current President of the African Union, Paul Kagame, and attended by a number of heads of parliaments and national councils in Africa.

The special sessions of the five groups of Member States of the African Parliament were held. The meeting of the North Group was chaired by member of the House of Representatives, Saleh Qulma.
