Conte and Sisi discuss the situation in Libya on a telephone call

CAIRO – Italy’s Prime Minister, Giuseppe Conte, called yesterday evening Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, and had a conversation with him on various topics, from bilateral relations to the situation in Libya in view of the upcoming conference in Palermo, as announced by the spokesman for the Egyptian presidency, Bassam Radi.

Conte and Sisi, underlined Radi, confirmed the importance of supporting efforts to arrive at a political solution to the Libyan crisis that would satisfy the Libyan people’s ambitions regarding the restoration of stability and security in the country.
