A delegation of the House of Representatives concludes its visit to Paris

PARIS – A delegation of the House of Representatives concluded its visit to the French capital Paris after a series of meetings with the President of the French Senate, the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee and the Special Envoy of the French Foreign Ministry.

The head of the delegation, Youssef Al-Akouri, described the visit as successful and said that it received great interest from the French side, pointing out that such meetings will continue for rapprochement and partnership with the French Republic.

The visit included meetings, which took place in the French Chamber of Commerce, with the largest French companies operating in Libya, most notably Total, and discussed ways to increase trade exchange between the two countries and resume the stalled projects.

The delegation also visited the French International Media Foundation and the Louvre Museum.
