TRIPOLI – The headquarters of the Libyan Foreign Investment Company (LAFICO) of the Libyan Investment Authority (LIA) in Tripoli was exposed on Tuesday night to a storming, where the Authority expressed its condemnation.
LIA said the headquarters of LAFICO were stormed by a group claiming to be members of the company board of directors.
The storming took place during the busy work of everyone to follow up on the conclusion of an important investment contract in the company of Lakeside in Egypt, LAFICO added.
LIA Board of Directors announced its keenness to take legal measures to protect and safeguard the assets of the Authority and its subsidiaries and to stop such irresponsible acts.
