NOC reopens three oil fields in Cyrenaica eastern Libya

BENGHAZI – Spokesperson for the Tripoli-based National Oil Corporation (NOC) told Reuters on Wednesday that NOC reopened three small oil fields in the east of the country, which have been closed since June due to fighting, to boost crude production by about 10,000 barrels per day.

The spokesperson said that NOC engineers re-operated the oil field of Al-Bayda on Tuesday evening which has production capacity of the field 12 thousand and 400 barrels per day.

The spokesman said that the National Oil Corporation also issued directives to resume operations in the fields of Tibesti and Dor Muradah.
