Salamé to brief UN Security Council on Thursday

BENGHAZI – Head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), Ghassan Salamé, is going to brief the UN Security Council on the situation in Libya Thursday, according to multiple media reports.

The meeting of the Security Council will discuss the extension of the mandate of the Panel of Experts to assist the UN Libyan Sanctions Committee, led by Olof Skoog, and the renewal of measures related to the illicit export of crude oil from Libya.
