The Address | Benghazi – Libya
PALERMO – Chairman of the Presidential Council, Fayez Al-Sarraj, met on Monday evening with the United States delegation to Palermo, which is headed by Special Adviser to the US Secretary of State for Libya, David Satterfield.
According to Al-Sarraj’s Media Office, the meeting discussed the latest developments in the political situation in Libya, and the economic reform program launched by Al-Sarraj to correct distortions in the economic and monetary systems.
The meeting also tackled the stages of implementation of the security arrangements that began in the capital Tripoli and its environs, which will include other Libyan cities.
The meeting was attended by US ambassador to Libya, Peter W. Bodde, Foreign Minister of the Tripoli-based Government of National Accord, Mohamed Taher Siala and Al-Sarraj’s adviser, Taher El-Sonni.
