BENGHAZI – Spokesman for the General Commander of the Libyan National Army (LNA), Ahmed al-Mismari, said on Wednesday that military trials will be held soon for those accused of killing lawyer Salwa Buqaiqees, lawyer Abdul Salam al-Mismari and US Ambassador Christopher Stevens.
In a press conference held in Benghazi, al-Mismari confirmed that the military court in the Green Mountain area had sentenced a group of defendants who were involved in terrorist operations.”
The sentences included the death sentence of one of the defendants, 20-year imprisonment for another, and 10-year for a third defendant. 65 other defendants were sentenced to release,” LNA Spokesman said.
