The Address | Benghazi – Libya
TRIPOLI – Chairman of the Dialogue Committee of the House of Representatives, Abdulsalam Nasia, met on Friday with Vice President of the German parliament (Bundestag), Claudia Roth, and Germany’s ambassador to Libya, Oliver Owcza.
According to a statement by Nasia, the meeting discussed the current situation and the restructuring of the executive branch as well as the upcoming Libyan National Conference (Al-Multaqa Al-Watani). He said that Claudia affirmed Germany’s position in support of the Libyan people’s choices and support of the UN mission.
Oliver Owcza said in a tweet that he had a “cordial” discussion with Nasia “about how best to represent the people’s interest and the art of political compromise”.
