Resumed flights between Libya and Malta

TRIPOLI – The Libyan branch of the international company FCM Travel Solutions announced on Saturday the resumption of the air link between Tripoli and Malta with a frequency of two weekly flights.

The company explained that the payment in local currency would be made available to Libyans to obtain the services of the company, and noted that the round trips will be made on Saturdays and Wednesdays through the airport of Mitiga.

FCM operates flights between Tripoli and Malta through the company Mediterranean Aviation, whose flights to the North African nation are interrupted several times during the year. This is due to European pressure, which accuses the Malta Civil Aviation Authority of circumventing the European ban on Libyan airlines and airports.
