The Address | Benghazi – Libya
WASHINGTON DC – “Transparency is critical to future of Libyan Investments Authority (LIA) and all Libyan national institutions,” the US former Special Envoy to Libya, Johnathan Winer, tweeted.
“Libyan people have the right to know about what is happening to funds which belong to all Libyans,” Winer added.
It is noteworthy that Belgium had confessed transferring billions of some of the Libyan funds frozen in its banks to unanimous recipients. It is also mentioned that the governments of UK, Germany, Italy and Luxembourg had released some of the Libyan frozen funds from their countries banks.
